Here we go. We’re at 1-1 on the channel. That is soon going to change because we are firing a lot more than two bets today!
I would not recommend parlaying any of these bets tbh because March madness is so unpredictable. There’s nothing worse than winning 4/5 bets and still losing money, then asking yourself how much you would have won if you just stayed discipline and bet them each as straight bets.
I will be sticking to straight bets and just hoping to make it out of the madness at slightly over .500 (that’s all we can really hope lol). With that being said, if you still decide to parlay a few of these picks and you get a nice win, be sure to reach out and let me know!
Lines I have bet for today (Thursday March 20th):
- Georgia +6.5 against Gonzaga. This doesn’t mean I don’t like the Zags to win the game (I think it’s pretty 50/50), I just like Georgia ats (against the spread) here. Everyone loves Gonzaga and I think we’re discounting Georgia here. They have some great wins this year against Florida amongst other teams and they have very capable rotating big men.
- Creighton +2.5 against Louisville. This is a weird one because Louisville got a very fortunate draw in this tournament (they are basically playing at home for games 1 and 2 if they win), and lots of people are up in arms about it. I hate to say it, but I like the refs to play a significant factor in this one helping Creighton and I also like their experience over that of Louisville in terms of tournament play.
- Yale +7.5 against Texas A&M. This is a super trendy first round upset game which is why i debated staying away from it, but Texas simply cannot shoot, like at all. And one thing you can count on from an Ivy league tournament team in the tourney is good coaching, smart playmaking, and composure.
- Michigan -2.5 against San Diego. This is a very trendy upset game – people are loving San Diego. I just don’t think it’s fair to discount Michigan after they literally just won the BIG 10 tourney. They have size, but they lack in shooting and they do turn the ball over. I predict a very ugly game but hopefully a win for the wolverines.
- Texas Tech -14.5 against Wilmington. Not much to say about this one except that Texas Tech is a really good team and I just don’t see Wilmington staying in this game. It’s always hard to take a spread that big because garbage time points can screw us out of a winning bet but I still like it.
- Clemson vs Mcneese State Under 133.5. If I posted this yesterday we would have gotten it at 134.5 which would have been nice. But I was lazy. I still like the under in what makes to be a slow, ugly game to be honest.
- Purdue vs Highpoint Over 154.5. Again, if I had have posted this yesterday, we would have gotten it at 153.5 which will probably screw us given my luck but we’ll send it anyways. Very poor defense, and efficient offense for both of these teams.
- VCU +2.5 against BYU. I literally made a note in my phone a few weeks ago to bet VCU first round of the tournament no matter who they matched up against because they are so undervalued. Then the bracket came out and they drew BYU. Probably the hardest 6 seed to play by a country mile. BYU is really good and discipline, but I’m gonna stick to my guns and bet VCU here.
Good luck us, lol we need it!
